Towards the Island of Paradise!

Have you ever wondered how a novel gets turned into a graphic novel? We did! Tuesday, December 4, at 6:30 PM, at the Archivi del ‘900 bookshop, in Via Montevideo 9 in Milan (Metro line 3, Sant’Agostino station), Eugenio Corti, author of the novel The Island of Paradise will meet Piero Fissore and Elena Pianta, scribe and artist on the eponymous graphic novel based on Corti’s work and published by ReNoir. Journalists and scholars will be in attendance, but it will also be a fun moment: Elena will draw under a camera, and her work will be projected on a screen, so as to let everyone appreciate the genesis of a comic book page.
